Apex Mindset is aimed in particular at high-school students and young athletes. This page explains what we do today, and the rules we commit to applying when accounts open.
Today
- The Express Protocol requires no account and collects no data. The other features (coach, journal…) may require an account (email or Google), managed by Supabase in the European Union.
- No advertising, no cookies, no ad tracking, no embedded social networks. Site traffic is measured by a cookie-free tool that produces only aggregate statistics. No data is sold.
- If you write to us, we use your address only to reply to you (see the privacy policy).
Parental consent
In France, the age of digital consent is 15. For accounts:
- if you are under 15, the consent of a parent or legal guardian is required to create an account: ask them to do it with you;
- between 15 and 17, you can sign up on your own, with clear information suited to your age.
Our commitments for minors' accounts
- Minimal data: we will ask only for what is necessary. Never a photo, geolocation or a mandatory phone number.
- No advertising, no reselling of data, ever.
- Your journal stays yours. If you join a club's or school's space (Apex Club), your coach only sees the first name you choose and, only if you agree, your anonymous share in a group stress average. Never your notes, your journal or your conversations. You can stop sharing or leave the club at any time.
- No number that points to you: no group statistics will be displayed if the group has fewer than five people.
- Easy deletion: export and delete your account and your data at any time.
- No diagnosis: the artificial intelligence will suggest ways to progress, never a medical or psychological label.
- Distress: if a message suggests you are not doing well, the service will not give you “performance” advice but will direct you to people and helplines.
- Impact assessment: a data protection impact assessment (DPIA) will be carried out before accounts open.
If you're going through a very hard time or thinking about hurting yourself, you're not alone. In France, call 3114 (national suicide prevention line, free, 24/7), 15 or 112 in an emergency, or Fil Santé Jeunes at 0 800 235 236 (free, anonymous). For a minor in danger or facing violence: 119. For online harassment: 3018. Elsewhere, call your local emergency number (112 in the EU).
Parents, educators, coaches
For any question or request concerning a minor's data (access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent), write to contact@apexmindset.fr. We reply within one month. Clubs and schools that use Apex Club undertake to inform families and to obtain a parent's consent for each member under 15: a ready-to-print information letter and consent slip are provided to them. Their commitments (no pressure, no attempts at identification, no use for selecting or penalizing) are set out in our Apex Club terms.
