Helping your child stay calm when it counts.
Apex Mindset is a mental preparation tool for high-school students, university students and young athletes. This page explains, with full transparency, what it does, what it doesn't do, and how we protect your child and their data.
Mental training — not a substitute for a professional.
It's the most important distinction, and we point it out everywhere. Apex is to mental preparation what a training log is to sport: a useful everyday tool with clear boundaries, which never replaces a doctor or a psychologist.
- Short exercises to manage stress, stage fright and focus
- An AI Coach available to unwind, prepare for a big day and put things in perspective
- A progress tracker your child keeps for themselves, which shows them how far they've come
- Clear referral to human help if a message raises concern
- No diagnosis, no medical or psychological label
- No treatment of an anxiety disorder or any illness
- It doesn't replace a doctor, a psychologist, or you
- It doesn't claim to “treat” anything — it simply trains
What your child gets from it.
A mental coach, 24/7
For the moments when pressure builds in the evening, before an oral exam, after a setback — when you can't always be there.
5-minute protocols
Breathing, grounding, visualization: concrete, guided techniques to repeat on their own before a big day.
Progress that motivates
A one-minute daily journal and a karate-inspired “belt” progression that rewards consistency.
What we protect, and how.
We treat a minor's data the way we'd want our own loved ones' data to be treated: as little as possible, never for advertising, and always under their control.
- Minimal data. No photos, no location tracking, and never a mandatory phone number. The Express Protocol doesn't even require an account.
- Nothing to sell. No ads, no data resale, no advertising trackers. It's not our model and it never will be.
- On their device by default. The journal and progress stay in the browser. If they create an account to use Apex across several devices, syncing is encrypted and hosted in the European Union.
- Their journal belongs to them. No club, no school — not even us — reads their personal notes or conversations.
- Parental consent under 15. In France, the age of digital consent is 15: below that, creating an account requires your approval.
- No diagnosis, referral in case of distress. If a message suggests something is wrong, Apex doesn't give “performance” advice: it points to helplines and trusted adults.
How to support your teen.
Suggest, don't impose
A mental training tool works best when it's chosen. Show them the Express Protocol (free, no account) and let them judge for themselves.
Respect their private space
Their journal is private, and that's a strength: it's what allows them to be honest with themselves. You don't need access to it to help them.
Stay the trusted adult
Apex doesn't replace you. It gives your child words and tools; it's you, and professionals, they should turn to when things go beyond ordinary nerves.
Learn to recognize the limits
Lasting sadness, withdrawal, intense anxiety: these aren't issues for an app. Talk to a doctor about it. Apex will encourage that too.
